The line launches in February, and the actor wants to find a partner that shares her vision and message.

As the world seems to find a new way to disappoint us daily, people want to feel like they're making a difference, no matter how mundane the gesture. Brands have taken advantage of this willingness to help by partnering with charities and organizations whose messages align with theirs, often donating a portion of their sales proceeds to the partnered charity. Rose McGowan is searching for a philanthropic partner to do just that with her upcoming beauty line.

The Only Skincare, set to launch in February, is McGowan's way of fighting back against decades of women's beauty standards set by beauty companies. Just two products will be sold, TheOnlyWash ($32) and TheOnlyLotion ($48), hoping for a "revolutionary approach to healthy skin that eliminates the need for overpriced, overly complicated beauty regiments," reads the company's website.

McGowan herself said that the beauty industry has failed women, writing: "We became disenchanted with the beauty industry and how many products we were told we needed." According to The Hollywood Reporter, McGowan is now in the process of finding a partner to tie her skincare company to, one that compliments and amplifies its message. 2017 saw McGowan's voice magnified in the contemporary movement to further equality for women, having shared her story about Harvey Weinstein and contributing greatly to the #MeToo movement.
