Heavy metal lovers, rejoice! Lady Gaga will perform a duet on stage with Metallica for this Sunday's Grammy Awards. Rumors swirled Monday night, when a Gaga fan tweeted a preview of the 2017 Grammy promo, but the collaboration has since been confirmed by Mother Monster's camp.
This news follows Gaga's already impressive the week, fresh off her Super Bowl performance and the announcement of her Joanne World Tour, which helped launch her album Joanne and a number of singles, new and old, to the top of iTunes charts. "Million Reasons" sits at #1, while "Born This Way" follows at #4.

This weekend, the singer will be joined by a lineup of power-pairings: The Weeknd performing with Daft Punk and Alicia Keys alongside country singer Maren Morris. A very pregnant Beyonce, Adele, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood are all also slated to perform, as well as Katy Perry, who will debut a new single following 2013's Prism.
Gaga has been a longtime Metallica fan. Back in her early career, she performed at Lower East Side bars with her friend Lady Starlight, where they'd put on DIY burlesque shows to the band's classic rock anthems. During Gaga's 2010 headlining Lollapalooza set in Chicago, the two revived their dive bar dance break on stage, lighting hairspray on fire to Metallica.
The Grammys air at 8 PM EST on CBS.
