Together, they covered the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter," alongside a swarm of musicians including Pixie Geldof, Circa Wave's Joe Falconer, Peace's Harry Koisser, Slaves' Isaac Holman, Black Honey's Izzy Baxter, Austin Williams and Swim Deep's Cavan McCarthy.
The star-studded cover was organized to benefit the British charity Help Refugees, as viewers watching online were encouraged to text REFU to 70700 to donate PS5. Mick Jagger has previously described "Gimme Shelter" as "a kind of end-of-the-world song," eerily echoing today's tumultuous political landscape.
