The young spokesperson recently posted an insenstive Tweet about a trip to Africa.
James Charles recently made headline as the first male to represent CoverGirl. But now the beauty boy is making news for the wrong reasons.
In a recently posted Tweet, he joked about contracting Ebola while on an upcoming trip to Africa. After defending himself and his remarks to a few upset Tweeters, he finally deleted the post. As of yesterday, he issued an apology.

Some pointed out that he referred to Africa as a country in his apology. Luckily, he's there for an educational trip. All things considered, it's the sincere apology of a teenager who has not yet learned the weight of his words.
CoverGirl also recently provided a statement in response to the situation:
"James Charles' tweet does not represent COVERGIRL's perspective. We agree his statements were inappropriate but appreciate that he has issued an apology. We are an inclusive brand and respect all people and cultures."
