In honor of International Women's Day, Madonna released today a short film, Madonna - Her-Story, created by Luigi & Lango in collaboration Vogue Germany. Starring Soko, Julia Cumming, Libby Larkin, Baylee Olsen and McCall Olsen, the cinematic black-and-white visual is dedicated to "all women who fight for freedom," and includes samples from Madonna's controversial Women's March in D.C. speech.

Madonna's Her-Story is broken into eight chapters, featuring everything from vicious dogs fights to dramatic dancing duets and the pop icon looking upon NYC with oversized angel wings. The soundtrack is without any new Madonna material, opting instead for aggressive industrial instrumentals by composer David Chalmin, at times softening the short with orchestral strings or romantic Italian folk.
A giant sign at the end reads, "We Should All Be Feminists," which echoes Madonna's final handwritten message, "Women's Rights are Human Rights." Watch Madonna - Her-Story in full, below.
