"Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable," she told her New Zealand crowd.
Adele's 15-month world tour concluded this weekend in New Zealand, where the "Hello" singer/songwriter delivered some unsettling news: she may never ever tour again.
I'm sorry, what?
"Touring isn't something I'm good at," she told the 40,000-plus crowd. "Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don't know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I've toured is you. I'm not sure if touring is my bag."
Adele's Mt. Smart Stadium performance, which saw her performing in stormy conditions, was the final stop on her record-breaking tour to promote her latest album, 25.
"It's the highest-selling tour I've ever been involved with, which is quite remarkable after working with Pink and U2 and Fleetwood Mac and Roger Waters," tour promoter Michael Coppel told The Daily Telegraph. But he warned that concerts this large with such a massive global act may be once in a lifetime opportunity. "We may never see her again," he said.
We'll get through this grim news together.
