A more inclusive shift for the VH1 reality series.

In a new Twitter video released this week, we've learned some exciting news about the upcoming season of America's Next Top Model, which will see Tyra Banks returning to her rightful place in the middle of the judge's panel: aspiring contestants will no longer be hindered by an age limit, whereas previously they had to be 27 years or younger to compete.

We learned Banks would officially be back on the show last month, taking her throne back from Rita Ora, who served as host this past cycle as the show made its move to VH1.

"There have been 23 cycles of America's Next Top Model," Banks explains in her video. "And every single cycle, we say, you have to be 27 years old or younger. You know what I hear all the time? 'Tyra, come on! Why have an age limit?' So you know what? I'm taking that age limit off. You wanna audition for America's Next Top Model? I don't care how old you are honey, you just need to be able to smize and be open to learning how to work the runway--like a supermodel."
