Lana Del Rey is on the cover of the new edition of Flauntmagazine, photographed by David LaChapelle, and the resulting images are insanely vintage-fabulous. Like--beyond words.
The photoshoot and feature story arrives just a week before Lana's fifth studio album, Lust For Life, drops on May 26, and according to her Flauntinterview, it's sure to be her most poignant yet: "It's hard to talk about your innermost feelings if you feel the reception will be cold," Lana said. "And I hung back for a while."

She continued, highlighting the relatability of her newest LP: "Sometimes I feel like I've got my finger right on the pulse of what's going on, and then some of my music comes out and it's like, 'Fuck, that was a miss. Fuck, that's not what people feel, at all.' But with this, I was right there with everyone."
Lana compared Trump's America to a "Hitchcockian experience," adding that "every day you wake up and you can't believe if the things being said and done are real. And I think some people are questioning if this shit is actually happening."
