Every Monday night, Marti Gould Cummings puts on a drag show at Therapy NYC for the city's gay Broadway fans. His show welcomed guests like Billy Porter, Bebe Neuwirth and, most recently, Jonathan Groff.
But this week, Cummings takes has talents to Feinstein's/54 Below for a one-night-only engagement. The show celebrates his upcoming nuptials, while looking back on his first kiss and high school crushes. Featuring Eric Miranda on guitar, Cummings has a few surprise guests in store for the evening.
"It's all about going from my first kiss all the way up until now about to get married," Cummings told OUT. "It is so special to be able to marry the man I love, and my soon to be husband, Blake Allen is playing piano during the show. It's a farewell to being single and a happy dance into marriage."
Marti Cummings performs tonight, 11:30 at Feinstein's/54 Below. Tickets are available online.
