Lorde & Taylor Swift are Totally Still Friends

One of my least favorite things aboyt Lorde--whom I worship--is her friendship with Taylor Swift (cue shady Drag Race rattlesnake sound effect). So I was pleased when, this week, the "Green Light" singer seemed to distance herself from Swift's #girlsquad when an Australian reporter asked her about "observing all of those heroes of yours?" Lorde replied:

"The second you think too hard about it, you'll just go insane so it's best to be like, 'We're in Wonderland. That's just what happens around here.' Like, also, I don't hang out with these people at all."

But the New Zealander seems to want to stay in swift's good graces and has tweeted a surprisingly candid statement about her continued friendship with Swift:

Personally, I'm disappointed. I was hoping that Lorde, like most of us, had realized what a shady snake Taylor Swift is and had dumped her but, alas, there is no actual Melodrama between them...for now.
