Celebrate the film's 20th anniversary by seeing it on the big screen.
Everyone remembers their first time: mine was with my grandma. Ok, that sounds wrong.
Grandma picked me up from school and took me to the movie I'd been frantically begging to see for weeks: Spice World. She complained as she bought the tickets, but I was in ecstasy. As the lights dimmed and the first notes of "Too Much" began, I experienced one of the purest moments of joy I'd ever feel.
Now, we can all experience that moment again, because Spice World is coming back to theaters to celebrate the film's 20th anniversary. The Spice Girls announced the re-release on Facebook, and while the film will only be screening in the UK, it's still a monumentous occasion worth celebrating--especially as a possible Spice Girls reunion has been hinted at (again), this time by Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. "We've had conversations, I've had conversations with Scary Spice and Emma, and we've talked about it," Carter said in an interview last month. "We're always open to doing a tour with them. I think it would be an epic tour."
