What would make viewing a once in a lifetime eclipse a billion times better? Viewing Bonnie Tyler singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" on a cruise during said eclipse, of course.
For the first time since 1979, the United States will be able to witness a total solar eclipse on August 21, and Royal Caribbean has a cruise dedicated to the big day. Dubbed the "Total Eclipse Cruise," the ship be at the perfect spot to view the eclipse, and during those fleeting moments, Tyler will sing a shortened version of her 1983 Grammy-nominated classic,"Total Eclipse of the Heart."
The CEO of Royal Caribbean told Time that choosing Tyler was "a natural choice," and Tyler added that "it's going to be so exciting."
It's easy to agree, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was obviously the right choice for this rare night. Revisit Tyler's hit, below.
