The Hunger Games & Twilight to Get South Korean Theme Parks
Two very different worlds to explore.
Two other franchises are trying to be like Harry Potter: The Hunger Games and Twilight will both get theme parks as part of the new Lionsgate Movie World at South Korea's Jeju Shinhwa World resort.
While we get the idea of a theme park about Panem--creepy people walking aroud in bizarre outfits, a ride that simulates the Battle at the Capital--how is a theme park about the rainy, gray Forks, Washington a fun getaway for the whole family? Only time will tell.
The parks are part of a seven-zone amusement world, similar to Universal Studios in Orlando. Two of the other movies by Lionsgate being made into a roller coaster haven are Robin Hood: Origins and Now You See Me (that movie about Vegas magicians).
Lionsgate is also devleoping a My Little Pony movie, so you can assume that will likely become a money-guzzling magic land, as well.
Here's a little comparison of the two different worlds set to become yours for the exploring, with the price of a General Admission ticket plus fees and tax:
