Trump and Clinton paraphernalia finally make an appearance.
The clown theme persists throughout the opening credit sequence for American Horror Story: Cult, which was revealed today. As an eerie brass-led circus tune drones on, the election theme behind the seventh season of the show becomes more explicit.

Blink and you might miss the flashes of a Halloween-quality Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton mask flashed between frames of bloody clowns and powder wig-wearing carvings. The bees make another appearance as well, but still not making enough of a statement for us to glean what it all means.
We're sticking to our earlier theory that clowns and bees are common phobias and those tie into Donald Trump engineering his campaign around fearmongering and alarmism. Watch the opening credits, below.
