It was a little worrying when the announcement came out that Carpool Karaoke was making the transition from premiere segment on The Late Late Show, where host James Corden has made it an internet favorite, to Apple TV series.
Then something like this happens, where two stars that you would never see together share a duet in a car with surprisingly good acoustics and the stars align. Pop powerhouse Ariana Grande and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane teamed up for a rendition of "Suddenly Seymour," a favorite from the musical Little Shop of Horrors.

While the vocals are predictably amazing, as is the Broadway style of both Grande and MacFarlane, the most impressive piece of the clip comes when MacFarlane avoids and off-screen crash and he and Grande don't flub a single note.
"We almost died! But the belting was more important," Grande said after finishing the song. "I like that we didn't skip a beat. That is what comes from being a theater person. You stay in it!" Watch the clip, below.
