To celebrate the upcoming release of his tenth studio album,Heaven Upside Down, Marilyn Manson teamed up with pop artist Alex Kazemi and queer makeup artist Riley Johnson to create a series of three grotesque video clips featuring occult imagery, fetish play and a lot of blood. The clips were intended to be posted as Instagram ads, but ended up getting pulled for time. Now, they've been posted on Instagram in all their NSFW glory.

"I wish this could air on TV," Kazemi said to Dazed about the project, which would give the FCC an aneurysm. "This is the kind of thing I would want to disrupt people in their living rooms when they are watching America's Got Talent or whatever."
And disrupt is exactly what these ads would do. Slogans like "FUCK YOUR REVOLUTION" and "WE CHOOSE FEAR" flash over images of sex, satanism and self-harm as Manson's singles "Say10" and "Kill4Me" roar in the background.
Kazemi designed the campaign to be a reminder that not everyone subscribes to the idea of wanting to be accepted or wanting to be wholesome. Each clip serves as a middle finger to the ultra-conservative and fundamental Christian voter blocks that Kazemi blames for Donald Trump's election, as well as a reminder to be "more bad and more queer than ever" in the face of hatred.
