Kiernan Shipka, best known for having a ridiculously pretentious name and obviously for her iconic role as Sally Draper on Mad Men, has been cast as Sabrina Spellman in Netflix's upcoming reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Based on the comic series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the new show will feature a much darker take on the beloved half-witch, half-mortal -- and who better to play a girl grappling with teen romance and occult rituals than the stone-cold blonde who went toe-to-toe with Betty Draper, who was clearly an emissary of Satan?

"We're all such huge fans of Kiernan's work that when we started talking about who this new incarnation of Sabrina could be, her name was on everyone's wish list," the still-untitled Sabrina project and Riverdale executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said in a press release. "This is a darker, more macabre version of Sabrina, and we're incredibly excited for people to see Kiernan make this iconic character her own."
