Matt Fishel's new single and lyric video, "LGBTQIA (A New Generation)" pays tribute to the activists and trailblazers that have broke ground and brought us to the spot we're in today in queer history.
"The song is also a celebration of today's generation of fabulous, open-minded youth," a press release states. "Loving, caring and increasingly understanding of one another's differences and similarities - as well as a call to arms against those individuals and institutions that still try to oppress freedom, equality and progress."

The single comes out in conjunction with the UK's LGBT History month, which begins in February on the 15th anniversary of the repeal of Section 28, the clause passed in 1988 by local government stating local law enforcement "shall not intentionally promote homosexuality or publish material with the intention of promoting homosexuality" or "promote the teaching in any maintained school of the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretended family
relationship."
