He compares the president to a story from the 4th century.
Rufus Wainwright has just released his latest video, and it's beautiful in its typical Rufus Wainwright way. It features clothes by Vivienne Westwood, with an appearance by Darren Criss. And of course, it's complemented by Wainwright's hauntingly beautiful vocals.
But this one holds a particular message for Donald Trump. Entitled "Sword of Damocles," it draws inspiration from a 4th century story about King Dionysius, who's confronted by his jealous servant, Damocles. Through supernatural forces, their roles are reversed, and the arrogant commoner becomes king. But he soon learns that the role isn't all about "crowns and cheeseburgers."
The video ends with one word: "Vote."
