This latest single from The Four finalist is about the one that got away.

"You should be mine," VINCINT sings on his latest single. "I should be the one you come to every night." It's a bold declaration, coming from the one time The Four finalist contestant, but not an entirely unrelatable one. In his latest single, "Mine"," the Philadelphia native sings about the one that got away, but is still within arm's reach.

"The song is for the romantics too afraid to shout their love from the rooftops," VINCINT told OUT of the track, which debuted across all platforms Tuesday. "I thought I'd give them an easier way to do it. I find that fear plays a big part in people's love lives and because of it they end up missing out on something that could be glorious." So if you can't find the words, let VINCINT be your voice -- and what a voice it is.

Having broken into the limelight by snatching a finalist slot on The Four -- taking the seat from a show favorite in fact -- the pop singer has been wowing us with his vocals in the year since. And while he may not have won the competition, he's vying for more space in our hearts with bop after bop.

"Mine" is the third single off of an upcoming EP for VINCINT, slated to be released in February -- it was preceded by "Marrow" and "Remember Me." Co-written with Pretty Sister (who also produced "Marrow"), the track lays emotions bare in ways that few of us are prepared to do.

"Love wants to be celebrated," he said. "It just takes us being brave enough."
