Monét X Change Spills Some Herstoric Tea in Educational Web Series

This is the America liberals want.

If there's one thing that Mama Ru has taught us, it's that reading is fundamental. And one of her prodigies is taking that wisdom to heart.

RuPaul's Drag Raceseason 10 alum and All Stars season four star, Monet X Change is imparting some "edumacation" on her fanbase. Her new web series, Monet's Herstory X Change, offers some little-known historical facts with her iconic drag wit. She wants to teach "random tidbits of knowledge that if you just so happen to land on an episode of Jeopardy one day, you'll snatch a trophy, henny!"

"It honestly comes from me remembering the silliest, most mundane facts from school, while forgetting the really important answers that were actually in the test," she tells OUT. "That has always been my brain, and it sucks. The only way I have been able to retain any historical information is by watching cool YouTube videos."

Luckily, us children have a cool web series like hers to teach us about American history, pirate myths, and nursery rhymes. In the first episode, she spills some tea about Betsy Ross, who's known for sewing the American flag.

"Betsy Ross is not a designer, she's a seamstress," Monet says. Although she accidentally calls her Betsy DeVos in the video, it's fitting; With DeVos running our educational system, this video series may be our only hope.

See Monet X Change in season four of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, December 14 at 8/7c on VH1. And watch her in Monet's Herstory X Change, which airs Tuesdays at 9am PT on WOW Presents Plus. Watch a clip below:
