And one just scooped the title of YouTube's biggest music video debut in history, with 55.4 million views in its first 24 hours, Billboard reports. Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" premiere toppled BTS' "Idol," which grossed over 45 million views in its first day on the platform.
Tapping some of the most revered flicks in recent pop culture history as foundations evidently paid off. Nostalgia's a strong drug, and I guess you could say her fans were into it.
Billboard also reported Grande had 829,000 eyes on "thank u, next" at once during the premiere's peak, which is... just insane.
