Batwoman and Supergirl Shamelessly Flirt in 'Elseworlds' Crossover

Batwoman and Supergirl met for the first time on the CW's "Elseworlds" crossover event Monday night, and there was some very clear sexual tension between the two powerful heroines.

This was the first time Ruby Rose appeared as the lesbian superhero, and as numerous fans have noted, she and Supergirl were shamelessly flirting.

Supergirl a.k.a. Kara Danvers tells Batwoman, whose alter-ego is Kate Kane, that she doesn't look like the rest of the uber-wealthy she's accustomed to meeting.

"All the corporate billionaires I know wear Versace and have 500 fewer tattoos," Kara said, to which Kate replied, "And those are the ones you can see."

Later, however, as they said their goodbyes, Kara confesses that she used her x-ray vision to check out Batwoman's body.

"You really do have a lot of tattoos." she said. "You know it's such a shame I have to go. I feel like we'd make a good team."

"World's finest," Batwoman replied.

Fans on Twitter collectively lost their minds over their flirtatious interactions, overjoyed by the definite possibility of a Supergirl and Batwoman love affair.

Only the future will tell what the DC universe has in store for the two world protectors, who will now be known by their celebrity couple name, Superwoman.
