The reality TV star says Tupac's ghost is the reason behind her "hood" persona.

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent, who is extremely white -- so white that she is from Utah -- has some explanation for how she became so "hood": apparently, she is possessed by the spirit of Tupac. Yes, that Tupac.

This revelation came out during an interview on SiriusXM's The Jenny McCarthy Show. McCarthy wondered how a "beautiful Utah girl can turn into like this cool, hood chick." Kent answered that she had some help from one of the greatest rappers of all time.

"I don't know where that comes from, I mean I am a firm believer that when Tupac died he took over my body," she explained. "I know you're laughing but I'm being for real."

"I recently just got 'thug life' tattooed on me and I feel so happy about it," she continued. "It's by my...the inside ankle on my left and it's up and down in my handwriting, it looks like a prison stamp." But at least Kent is somewhat self aware, explaining that she knows she's not quite as hardcore as she claims to be. "The thing is I've never been in a fight before," she added. "I am as boujee and white as they come but I gets to clapping sometimes, pretend you know?"

Have we reached a new sub-layer of cultural appropriation? Cultural possession? Someone get this girl an exorcist.
