Azealia Banks Suspended From Twitter Following 'Drag Race' Drama

Banks' disappearance from Twitter comes days after she called out RuPaul for allegedly plagarizing her music.

After calling out RuPaul for allegedly ripping off her track "The Big Big Beat," Azealia Banks starting duking it out with various Drag Race queens, most notably season ten contestant Monet X Change, who called Banks "rotted trash" and said the queer community was the only reason the rapper had a career.

Banks fired off a flurry of tweets, telling X Change that her "crotch is rotting and fermenting under that sour mildew ass girdle sus -------- I do not give a goddamn." She later said that "white gays always find a way to inject their selfish ass ideas about how queer people are supposed to be into EVERYTHING I do. Why can't you all just go the fuck away ? Seriously...Black queer women have a different fucking life from gay white men. Stop trying to police my queer experience and tell me how to be. You guys are honestly suffocating and I wish you would go away and stay away for good."

Following Banks' comments, her Twitter profile has disappeared -- it's unclear whether she was merely suspended or whether her account has been deleted.

Banks' fans have been tweeting about what they see as hypocrisy on Twitter's part.

RuPaul has yet to comment on the situation, although her album American -- featuring "Call Me Mother," the track Banks alleged plagiarized "The Big Big Beat" -- has been returned to Spotify.
