Netflix Orders 10 Episodes of "Kaos" from Charlie Cavell, the Queer Writer Behind “End of the F***ing World”

Netflix

Netflix describes Kaos as “a darkly comedic and contemporary reimagining of Greek mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld.”

Netflix just ordered 10 episodes of an hour-long show, Kaos, from Charlie Covell, the queer writer of the hilarious and thought-provoking dark comedy, End of the F***ing World.

End of the F***ing world centers around the unexpected journey of Alex Lawther (Black Mirror), an animal-killing teenager who is convinced that he is a psychopath. The raw grit and intensity of the show is what led to its commercial success.

Kaos will be a contemporary reimagining of greek mythology, written in a similar dark-comedic style to End of the F***ing World. Netflix claims the new show will explore "themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld."

No other cast or creatives were announced at this time.
