Kim Kardashian West isn't just a person, she's a brand, an empire. And she might, at some point, become a public servant. On a recent episode of The Van Jones Show on CNN, Kardashian West said she wasn't ruling out a political campaign.
"Never say never," she said. "But that's not going to be like, Kim's running. That's not where I am."
Kardashian West recently welded her power by good when she met with Donal Trump about having Alice Marie Johnson, a mother who was serving a life sentence without parole over a first-time drug offense. Johnson was released thanks to Kardashian West's influence, so who's to say she wouldn't win an election? She wouldn't be the first reality star to do it, and isn't that a sobering thought.
"I honestly saw that if I could use my platform just to do something for one person, that it opens the conversation for so much more and for other people to want to do the same thing," Kardashian West said.
