Cher and Meryl Streep's big summer movie Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again may not be a comic book adaptation, but it turns out these two iconic women are also real life superheroes. While chatting with James Corden on The Late Late Show, Cher explained that she and Streep had saved a woman from a violent sexual predator in New York City.
The two actresses spotted a woman having her clothes torn off by a "gigantic man" and rushed in to help. After the attacker fled, the woman realized who her saviors were. "She looks at us and she goes, 'Oh my God, I was saved by Meryl Streep and Cher!'"
