Tyler, The Creator’s New Song References “Call Me By Your Name”
"You got me on tippy toe/ So who's Oliver? Who Elio?"
Tyler, the Creator released "GELATO" a new song over a remix of Jacquees's 4275 track "No Validation."
In "GELATO" the out rapper references Call Me By Your Name.
"You got me on tippy toe/ So who's Oliver? Who Elio?" he rhymes over the electro-soul remix.
The rapper continues, "Ayo, tell me what's the problem/ I just pop models/ Boy or gal these days; shit, it don't matter/ We can fuck Sunday 'cause I don't read bibles/ But I'm faithful to this money and these Celine goggles."
This isn't the first time the rapper has given a shout out to the Academy Award-winning film. On "OKRA," he told star Timothee Chalamet to "come get at [him]."
"GELATO" is Tyler, the Creator's latest of many loose singles, following "Kids See Ghost" remix, a "Bring It Back" freestyle, a Flower Boy demo called "Rose Tinted Cheeks," and "OKRA."
