Azealia Banks Cancels Album After Beefing With Nick Cannon
"I'll release new music when I feel like it."
Azealia Banks took to Instagram today to air grievances against Nick Cannon's show Wild 'n Out, claming that she was subjected to colorist jokes that caused her to get emotional. "There were tons of pre-planned colorist jokes and of course .... cry baby cried," she claimed in an Instagram post. "Some little scrawny black Atlanta twink was prepared for me. They planned this -- hit me on short notice."
In the hours following Banks' initial post, the rapper asked in her Instagram story if she'd be in the wrong for making fun of Cannon's Lupus. Cannon responded with his own Instagram post.
This all seemed to culminate in a post on Banks' Instagram story saying that her upcoming album, Fantasea II: The Second Wave, was cancelled. "I'll release new music when I feel like it," wrote Banks.
