Kardashian made questionable comments after being body-shamed
In the latest "no one is really in the right here" celebrity beef, Kim Kardashian is at odds with model Tyson Beckford after he commented on an Instagram photo of her, saying that he 'didn't care for' her (allegedly) surgically enhanced body. "She is not real, doctor fucked up her on her right hip," he wrote, adding a vomiting emoji. If the story had ended there, the issue would be clear: Beckford's comment was body-shaming misogyny.
But after Instagram account The Shade Room picked up Beckford's comments, Kardashian fired back with one of her own. "Sis we know why you don't care for it," she wrote, adding the requisite "Kermit sipping tea" emojis, clearly alluding to Beckford being gay. Because apparently the reality star thinks its acceptable to use homosexuality as a punch line in 2018.
Obviously Beckford was wrong for publicly voicing his opinions about Kardashian's body and however she may or may not have altered it. But the reality star firing back and using a suggestion about Beckford's sexuality as a weapon is also, you know, wrong. And homophobic.
