Morgan Fairchild Returning to TV in LGBTQ Drama Mélange

Morgan Fairchild

It's like Dynasty, but set in a gay bar!

Morgan Fairchild is returning to television in the gayest way. The soap opera icon is set to star in the upcoming LGBTQ drama, Melange.

Fairchild stars as vindictive Vivian King in the half-hour series. Set in New York, it centers around the fight for ownership of Melange, a gay bar whose proprietor has mysteriously died. We're imagining all the camp and guilty pleasure of Dynasty... but in a gay bar.

Rounding out the largely queer cast are Robert Newman, Scott Evans, Anne Ramsay, Perez Hilton, Darnell Williams, Alex Newell, Diana DeGarmo, Mark Indelicato, Kristen Alderson, Laith Ashley, Ilene Kristen, Maya Days, Pamela Winslow Kashani, Omar Sharif Jr, and David A. Gregory.

Created by Tom D'Angora, filming begins August 4 in Manhattan. No network is currently attached to the project.
