Watch Pose’s MJ Rodriguez Perform "Home" Live on "One Take"

MJ Rodriguez and Billy Porter brought queers and allies around the world to tears when their characters on FX's Pose performed "Home" from The Wiz. Rodriguez, who plays house mother Blanca, and her close friend Pray Tell, who is played by Porter, arranged a cabaret to cheer up patients in an AIDS ward. Both characters on Pose had been recently diagnosed with HIV and Pray Tell's partner was currently an inpatient at the ward.

For Michael Korte's "One Take" sessions on Youtube, Rodriguez covers "Home" yet again. In this new acoustic version of the classic The Wiz song, she manages to sound even better than she did on the show.
