Jennifer Lopez Says People Need Romantic Comedies, Does Not Lie

Jennifer Lopez has long been known as the queen of romantic comedies, and this fall she'll return to the genre in the appropriately named Second Act.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Lopez shared that she work hard to make her new film happen because she thinks what the world needs right now is more romantic comedies.

"We pushed this one through," she said. "I think people need them. We miss them. They're fun. You need that funny, quirky look at life sometimes, that romantic look at life. I think things are tough sometimes, and we need that escape." No lies detected!
