Who Is the Rubber Man On 'AHS: Apocalypse?': 10 Theories
Last night, one of American Horror Story's most iconic creatures returned -- Rubber Man is back! A little thing like the end of the world wasn't going to stop this horny bastard. While Gallant thought that the man in the suit was Michael Langdon, the Antichrist denied ever touching him, leaving us to wonder... who is Rubber Man? We've got a few theories...
Michael Langdon, 'Apocalypse'
The easiest and most obvious answer is that Langdon was lying, and it was actually him in the suit, playing more games with the survivors of the apocalypse.
Andre, 'Apocalypse'
Poor Andre is still heartbroken after the death of his beloved Stu. Perhaps he needed the companionship without risk of punishment (hence the anonymity).
Brock, 'Apocalypse'
Billy Eichner's character, Brock apparently met a swift end during the apocalypse in the first 10 minutes of the new season, but is it possible he isn't dead? Might he have survived the blasts and donned the suit as a way to survive the post-blast radiation? Mostly, we just want Eichner back.
Tate Langdon, 'Murder House'
Apocalypse is a crossover between Coven and Murder House, and we know that Peters' inaugural AHS role, Tate Langdon is returning. In the first installment, Tate donned the Rubber Man suit in order to impregnate Vivien Harmon with the Antichrist, aka Michael Langdon. Could he be wearing the suit again? Having Evan Peters have sex with himself is totally something Ryan Murphy would do.
Chad, 'Murder House'
Chad originally bought the rubber suit in order to spice up his sex life with his cheating husband. That didn't work out so well when Tate put it on and killed them both. Could Chad be taking a note from his hubby's philandering book and using the suit to cheat his way through the afterlife? Seems unlikely but you never know.
Patrick, 'Murder House'
Seeing as Patrick was the cheating spouse in the first place, it certainly makes sense that he carried that habbit over into the afterlife.
Ben Harmon, 'Murder House'
Ben Harmon was plagued by the Rubber Man during Murder House, and he's returning for Apocalypse. Maybe he discovered bisexuality in the afterlife?
Kyle, 'Coven'
Can you tell we're running out of Coven and Murder House characters? Frat boy Kyle was killed when Madison used her powers to flip a bus full of his rapist frat bros, and he eventually became the coven's zombie guard dog, killing Madison in the finale. Hopefully his undead status protected him from the apocalypse, and maybe he and Zoe have gotten kinky in the years since we last saw them -- they did have a threesome with Madison, after all.
Spalding, 'Coven'
He did like dolls, so maybe this could work? OK, probably not. But there weren't that many male characters on Coven.
Elizabeth Taylor, 'Hotel'
I know it's not Elizabeth Taylor! I just miss her, OK?
