Joyful, Joyful: Whoopi Goldberg Says a Sister Act Reboot is Happening

If you're a child of the '90s, you know Sister Act is a cultural staple. If you're a child of the '90s with taste, you know Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit is one of the few sequels that's far superior to the original. I mean, Whoopi Goldberg basically gave us Lauryn Hill.

So, it only stands to reason that a Sister Act 3 would be an epic idea. And according to Goldberg, another installment is in the works. But it sounds more like a reboot, and it's missing one major component.

"We've been all over Disney begging," Goldberg said on Good Morning Britain. "They've decided that they're going to go in a different direction with Sister Act. So, it won't be Sister Act 3. It will be a brand new rendition of Sister Act, and I guess I'll walk through a scene and that's how they'll say I was part of it."
