This year marks the Los Angeles Philharmonic's centennial season. To celebrate, they're holding an eight-mile street party, from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Hollywood Bowl.
The free celebration will include 1,800 musicians, artists, and dancers performing at six hubs along the route. It culminates with a massive free concert at the Hollywood Bowl where Gustavo Dudamel will lead the LA Philharmonic. He'll be joined by special guests, Herbie Hancock, Kali Uchis, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, and Katy Perry.
An eight-mile walk isn't such a bad deal for a free Katy Perry performance.
Celebrate LA takes place September 30. Find more info here.
