Azealia Banks: 'Dr. Luke Never Raped Kesha'

In a series of tweets, Azealia Banks claims that Kesha lied about being sexually assaulted by Dr. Luke as a tactic to get out of her contract. Responding to criticism from a fan that Banks worked with the producer, the rapper responded "Dr Luke never raped Kesha. After 5 years of legal drama...they were still unable to find him guilty. Kesha lied because she didn't want to fulfill contractual obligations she'd already been paid to fulfill," wrote Banks. Banks called Kesha's allegations "another example of a white woman using her inherent 'victimhood' to con her way through life."

"I don't give a fuck about Kesha," added Banks, saying that the singer has never stood up for black women and that "she should have stayed with Luke because her new music sucks."

Banks also criticized Lana Del Rey for her response to Kanye West's pro-Trump Saturday Night Liverant and MAGA Instagram post. "I suggest you apologize to Kanye!"
