Diller has been in the news constantly over the past year, with IAC's multiple bids to take over Angie's List, speculation over whether IAC would buy the foundering Yahoo, and its spinning off Match.com and Tinder into the very lucrative Match Group (of which IAC still owns about 86%) -- all true to IAC's pattern of acquiring promising Internet companies, fostering them, and expanding them.
