This gay dance floor proposal had Winter Party cheering

The proposal, which was caught on video, shows Buddy L. Griffith and Ian Alexis dancing at the Beach Party event. A circle is formed around them at one point, Alexis drops to one knee, and a ring is pulled out — catching Griffith completely off guard. The crowd around them cheered in amazement and watched the moment unfold.

After Griffith accepted the proposal, the two men kissed, which drew even more cheers from bystanders.

The official Instagram page for Winter Party Festival also shared a video of the proposal. The caption reads:

"They found love on the dance floor! We're honored to have been the backdrop for @ian_alexis_fit and @beautiful_surprise_88's unforgettable marriage proposal. The lovebirds danced from day to night at our iconic Beach Party, making it the perfect setting to begin their next chapter. We love to see it."

Held by the National LGBTQ Task Force, the annual Winter Party Festival features many events: a drag brunch, a pool party, many nightclub takeovers, as well as dance parties. Now, the event is also a place for gay people to get engaged. Imagine that!
