The Queen of Drag said a few words about The Vivienne on the pink carpet of DragCon's opening ceremony.
"We want to focus on love and we are going to remember our dear The Vivienne with love, life, and happiness because that’s what she was all about," said RuPaul. "She would love for you to live your lives, to be free, to have a lot of fun and to spread it around."
Organizers also set up a memorial space for DragCon attendees to pay their respects for The Vivienne, and fans are writing touching messages on the wall.
"The world was better with you in it! RIP you legend!" reads one.

"With a broken heart, I join the entire Drag Race universe in mourning the loss of The Vivienne — an incredibly talented queen and a lovely human being," RuPaul wrote on social media.
Ariana Grande, Yvie Oddly, and Jinkx Monsoon were just a few more to share their condolences. "I don’t entirely have words," wrote Monsoon. "She has made her mark in our hearts and on her stages. It’s too soon for a curtain call but I know it’s a standing ovation. I love you Viv."
