See All the Leatherfolk and Kinksters from Folsom Europe 2019

The Folsom events are some of the largest gatherings of leatherfolk and kinksters in the world. There's the original in San Francisco, which at this point is legendary and started in 1984. In New York City, Folsom Street East kicked off 13 years later and has steadily been establishing itself. But in 2003, Berlin entered the fray with Folsom Street Europe, which has, in just over 15 years, quickly become one of the largest and buzziest leather and fetish events on the scene.

Over five days, the city of Berlin is packed with members (and fans) of the leather and fetish communities for street festivals, a series of parties, and other events. Notables like International Mr. Leather 2019 Jack Thompson and Mister Leather Europe 2019 Evert Leerson attended, as well as a ton of other titleholders. And it wasn't just leather: rubber titlehodlers as well as pups were certainly in the mix. Other buzzy names in the community also made it out -- Terry Miller, who has been the Tom of Finland Store's model of choice these days, was there alongside his husband Dan Savage. And though Europe does have a reputation of being more "formal" about their leather gear, wearing head-to-toe looks while those Stateside are more prone to a harness and jockstrap, the photos that made it to Instagram were just as sexy as any other event.
