This Is Why Raging Stallion's Latest Film Has a MAGA Hat

It's not the first time the studio has used the prop.

Though many have turned their attention to homemade adult content -- or just watching pirated clips on Twitter -- studio pornography is still big business. There's a boatload of people still watching, and whoever is consuming all the Raging Stallion content might have noticed a curious prop in one of their latest films.

As first flagged by Str8UpGayPorn (link NSFW), a scene from the company's new Cake Shop film features a Make America Great Again hat. But like ... why?

We all know that the bright read MAGA hat is one fo the most polarizing items of clothing at the moment. People have had them snatched off when worn in mixed company. For many they are emblematic of not only Donald Trump, but the entire alt-right movement and all of the phobias and isms it encompasses. It's not without basis to say just the sight of one can be triggering to some.

This isn't even the first time: the imprint did a film in 2017 where performers playing right wing fanatics wore the hats for Gun Show. So why, exactly, would one put a MAGA hat in a gay porn?

The scene description for the footage that it appears in is pretty simple. In a parody flip of a wedding cake story we've heard so much, a Trump-loving straight couple go into a gay baker's shop in order to order a cake. Ricky Larkin, the man in the duo, wears the hat to further the character development -- though this could have pretty easily been done in the dialogue but ok! As you can guess, conversation about cake devolves into gay sex etc, etc, etc. But like, was there no other way to get the point across, no matter how lazy it is?

"We chose the MAGA hat specifically because a gay porn is the last place that MAGA-hat-wearing Trump Supporters would want to see it," Tim Valenti, Falcon Studios/NakedSword Presents present, tells out in an email statement. "Raging Stallion's movie Cake Shop is a satire designed to bring attention to a discriminatory movement and the supporters who blindly follow it. This administration has done nothing to help our community and so much to hurt it. Installing conservative judges, removing rights from our trans brothers and sisters, and the list goes on. The slogan emblazoned on the red hat has become a symbolic representation of this presidency and the entire republican party who has supported him."

That's all great and everything but the Trump supporters who discover a MAGA hat in gay porn probably aren't going to be repulsed ... they were already watching the porn! The only group that is likely to be repulsed is literally everyone else.
