Basketball Player Candace Parker Comes Out in Post About Wife & Baby

Candace Parker and her wife Anya Petrakova are expecting!

The WNBA player and Chicago Sky team member publicly came out on Tuesday on Instagram with an emotional, celebratory post for the couple's second wedding anniversary. Parker gushed about Petrakova, saying she "couldn't be more beautiful" and "glowing." But Parker took it a step further and gave us all the feels as she shared some major baby news!

Along with an intimate slideshow, which included photos from the couple's wedding day, Parker wrote, "Two years ago, I got to marry my best friend in front of our close family and friends. My heart could have exploded. I cried like a baby."

And speaking of babies, Parker announced that the couple will soon be welcoming one! In the third photo of the post, the pair lovingly showed off Petrakova's pregnant belly.

"We've always dreamed of growing our family..." Parker wrote. "It's surreal that we now have a baby on the way!"

As for soon-to-be "big sister" Lailaa, Parker's first daughter, the athlete shared that she's "pumped" as well,

"Thank you for always loving Lailaa as your own, being my calm, my support, my voice of reason, my laughs, my cuddles, my dance in the rain, my happy, my home... I can't wait to embark on this next chapter in life with you!"
