These WNBA Teammates Announced Their Engagement With These Cute Pics

Natisha Hiedeman and Jasmine Thomas make a great team on AND off the court!

Lace up your hi-tops and break out the handkerchiefs because WNBA stars and teammates Natisha Hiedeman (@t5poon) and Jasmine Thomas (@jaszthomas) are engaged! The pair, who both play professionally for the Connecticut Sun basketball team, announced the special occasion by posting heartwarming pictures to social media showing Hiedeman on bended knee proposing to an overjoyed Thomas.

"So, let's talk about last night..." Thomas posted to Instagram, adding she was "so excited for forever with the love of my life" and was "beyond lucky."

Hiedeman was more understated in her post to social media, writing "love you & here is to forever."

The happily engaged couple play together on the WNBA Connecticut Sun, where the 31-year-olds sit atop the standings with the best record in the league. Thomas plays point guard, and Hiedeman also plays in the backcourt as shooting guard.

Sun's coach Curt Miller said the team celebrated the engagement with champagne Wednesday after their 98-69 defeat of the New York Liberty.

"Jas and Tisha are two of the greatest people I know," Miller was quoted by ESPN. "So, we celebrated their special engagement and wished them all the luck in the world on a lifetime of love and happiness."

"Anytime you see that happen, you're excited for your teammates," Sun forward and teammate Jonquel Jones was quoted by ESPN. "It's something we just embrace in our team."

The pair have been open about their relationship, posting pics of themselves spending quality time together.

Whether it's lounging in the shade of a cabana or just posing for selfies with a human's best friends, it's clear these two are in love.
