At 29 years of age, Arthur Nory has become one of the most well-known gymnasts in the world. Born in Campinas, Brazil to a Japanese mother and a Brazilian father, Nory started gymnastics when he was just 10 years old. Since then, he's become an extremely successful athlete and earned dozens of medals in high-profile championships.

Nory's landmark achievements over the course of his career include a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, a gold medal at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, a gold medal at the 2019 Stuttgart World Championship, a gold medal at the 2021 Pan American Championship, and two gold medals at the 2022 Asuncion South American Games, to name a few. This week, he also earned himself a bronze medal in the men's horizontal bar category at the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, England.

Nory came out as gay in October 2021 - and he also revealed that he had been in a relationship with longtime boyfriend Joao Otavio Tasso (@joaootaviotasso) in his coming out post. As of November 2022, Nory and Tasso are reportedly still together.
