If you were upset to learn that Mark Consuelos--husband of Kelly Ripa, if you're unfamiliar--was the actor who was originally supposed get pegged by Abbi in Season 2 episode of Broad City (a fact revealed by Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer earlier this year), then you're not alone. The 44-year-actor and co-producer of The Secret Guide to Fabulous, which recently returned for season two on Logo, also regrets not being included in the series.

"They asked me to be a part of the pilot to play the neighbor--the guy next door--and I really didn't know much about it," Consuelos tells Out about getting involved. He later had to pull out of the Comedy Central show after Alpha House was picked up by Amazon, adding: "It's one of those big tragedies of my career that I wasn't going to be involved in a show with Amy Poehler and those two girls. It was just a fantastic experience."

Consuelos says he's "going to beg them to be on season three." Considering that Ripa made a surprise and hilariously raunchy appearance this past season -- that included a bit about the couple having a secret leather bondage gear closet in their immaculate kitchen -- it shouldn't be too far of a stretch. "I thought she was brilliant in it."

When asked about the pegging episode, in which Abbi straps on a green, custom-made dildo in order to please her neighbor Jeremy in bed, Consuelos admits he didn't realize what it entailed. "They had to explain it to me," he says, laughing as he recalled a conversation he had with the comedy duo, but it doesn't mean he wouldn't have done it. "Hey, listen, anything to be on the show."

Jacobson and Glazer, do you hear him? Find a place for him on Season 3!

The Secret Guide to Fabulous airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/8 C on Logo.
