Watch: Looking: The Movie Trailer is Finally Here
And it promises plenty of love triangles, romantic dilemmas, and Doris’ one-liners.
Looking, one of our favorite gay watches that was tragically cut short after only two seasons, will return to HBO on July 23 as a full, feature-length movie. Consider it the final dramatic goodbye before it disappears forever (i.e. until it's available for purchase).
The trailer hints at a full-on San Francisco reunion between BFFs Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustin (Franke J. Alvarez), Dom (Murray Bartlett), and honorary gay, Doris (Lauren Weedman). Patrick comes back to the hilly city for a wedding (Augustin and furry Eddie, perhaps!?) after a hiatus in Colorado. From there, the clip shows snippets of unfulfilling partying, a teary-eyed Patrick, a welcome encounter with Richie (Raul Castillo)--who we hope wants Patrick back--and a meet-up with sexy skeezball Kevin (Russell Tovey).
We are ready for dramz. Watch the trailer below:
Looking: The Movie premieres Saturday 7/23 at 10PM.
