Every once in a while, Lifetime makes another grab for our attention with just the right actor/role combination for one of their dramatic TV movies.
This time around they're giving us Courtney Love as Kitty Menendez, the Hollywood mother who, along with her husband, was the victim of a double homicide at the hands of her children. In 1989 the Menendez brothers murdered their parents, then proceeded to craft an alibi by going to the movies and meeting friends for wine afterward. During the trial it came out that both children had been sexually abused repeatedly by their father, while their mother stood by and did nothing.
According to Dazed, Love will be working with the directors of the 2003 film Party Monster for the Lifetime project, which begins filming in Vancouver next month.
