The midseason legal drama starred Orange is the New Black's Laverne Cox as a transgender lawyer, which was a historic television first--a transgender actress playing a trans role on broadcast television.

Despite a diverse cast, Doubt's first two episodes received low ratings, apparently signaling to CBS to pull the show from its Wednesday time slot. No word yet on whether the network will release the remaining episodes or allow the show to return.
